Hey! I really enjoyed your video on Jacob Riis. I like how informative and organized your presentation was, and how you explained the different techniques he used that we learned throughout Chapter 4. His work made me feel certain emotions such as sadness, as a lot of his images portrayed these feelings. However, this artist did a great job at capturing these moments of truth in New York as to how the lower class lived and his work definitely had an impact on American society. This artist gave me a new perspective on photography, shedding light on using photography to spread awareness as to certain issues going on in the world.
